Customer Training

Customer Training offers high quality, effective and customer focused training on the Fleet Management System. It demonstrates the key features and allows you to use the aspects of Global Telematics that are relevant to your business needs. This contributes to making the system an essential fleet management tool.

A number of training options are available.


Training Workshops - The training workshops are held in our custom built training room at our headquarters in Surrey.

Key features of the training are:

  • A maximum of four delegates per course, ensuring constant help and support from the trainer
  • Each user has access to their own computer, with a live FMS system. This ensures all attendees have constant hands-on practice with their Global Telematics system.
  • Wherever possible course attendees are restricted to attendees from one organisation. This ensures the training remains focused on your business needs.
  • Tasks and supporting materials are supplied for use during the course and for later reference.
  • An opportunity to meet face to face with the Global Telematics staff responsible for your organisation .
There are two main workshop:-

FMS Introductory Course - This course is designed for basic users and operators of the software. It concentrates upon locating and working with vehicles along with the basics of the Global Telematics Fleet Management Software.

FMS Supervisory Course - This is designed for users and managers who are responsible for the administration and management of the Fleet Management System and the consequent cost benefits. It is a pre-requisite that all delegates have attended the Introductory Course or have an equivalent level of experience.

Certificates are supplied for all attendees on the courses.


Attendee Feedback

Since the beginning of the year over 40 workshops have been presented with over 100 attendees. Over 99.8% of attendees rated the course as Good or Very Good, an indication of the superior quality of the training.


On-Site Training
We can also offer training at your desk if you decide the workshop options is not the best route for you and your users.

If you have subscribed to the FMS system you will be contacted by the company's training team to arrange your training to coincide with the installation of the Telematics Control Units in your vehicles and the installation of your software on your PC. Trainer Profile

Haydon Davis has been involved in IT for over 15 years. Prior to joining Global Telematics, Haydon spent two years running the technical department of a very well established Microsoft Technical Education Centre.
